Admission Process

We are looking for students who demonstrate a keen desire to learn, who are curious about the world they live in and wish to explore a variety of experiences in order to develop their innate talents.

The Application Process for admission at Saraf Public School begins with submitting a duly filled Registration form. Registration forms are available at the school office.

While submitting the duly filled Registration form, a sum of Rs. 500 will have to be submitted by cash or DD to the school office before the end of the registration period. Registration forms will not be accepted after the last date.

Note: Only the Registration Form should be submitted at the time of registration.

All registrations will be screened and if seats are available in the class applied for, it will be intimated to parents personally. Successful candidates whose name are included in the list must pay the fees by the dates displayed on the School Notice Board, otherwise admission will automatically stand cancelled.

Parents are requested to carefully fill and submit the Admission Form at the time of payment of fees. Kindly ensure that the admission form is complete in all respects so as to facilitate the admission procedure. Incomplete applications will not be accepted.

The SPS admission criteria are as follows:

Age Criteria 2+ years complete for Pre-Nursery on 31st March
3+ years complete for Nursery on 31st March
4+ years complete for KG on 31st March
5+ years complete as for Class-1 on 31st March

On being offered the admission, parents will be given two weeks time to pay the admission fee (if the student is not joining immediately) and security deposit to secure the place. No student shall be allowed to attend classes unless an ID number has been generated. Parents further need to fill and submit various forms and declarations that would be given along with admissions acceptance letter. Before allowing the student to take up his/her place a transfer certificate should be lodged with the admissions office from the earlier school of the student.

Parents are to report to the reception counter on the dates specified in the joining instructions, along with the admission card. The ward will not be allowed to attend classes if the admission card is not produced.

The students must report in complete School Uniform, along with books and stationery as prescribed by the school.

Procedure for fee payment

Fee at the time of admission is payable by Demand Draft / Pay Order in favour of Saraf Public School, Khatima in the school office. The admission card will be issued to parents only after all the admission formalities are completed.

Fee is charged quarterly for every student. Quarterly fee is due for payment on 1st April, 1st July, 1st October and 1st January of every quarter. Last date of payment is 10th of the first month of every quarter. Late payment fine is imposed thereafter till the last day of the month. The name of the child is liable to be struck off the rolls, if the fee is not paid by the last date of the said months.

Note: Admissions during middle of an academic session. Parents may register at any time during the year for admission in the current year and will be considered whenever a place is available.
