Fit India Movement: Fitness Week Celebration

  For any society or Nation to progress, it’s important that citizens are physically fit. The challenges of the modern-day life have brought along with it the need to be more physically proactive and fit, in order to face its challenges with optimum energy and positivity. Fit children are able to handle day to day physical and emotional challenges better. On 29th August 2019, the Honorable Prime Minister launched a nationwide “Fit India Movement” aimed to encourage people to include physical activity and sports in their everyday life. So as to take this mission forward, CBSE has decided that each year second & third week in November, will be celebrated as “ Fitness Week” in all its affiliated schools. Therefore, in order to take this mission forward, Saraf Public School celebrated “FIT INDIA MOVEMENT” in the third week of November. Different activities like Yoga, Free Hands Exercise, Debates, Martial Arts, Dance Aerobic, Essay writing, poster making, etc. held in school.

Poster Making

  Health is a state of complete harmony of mind, body, and spirit. If you have health, you can have all the happiness in the world. So in order to remain fit, one has to work on three aspects- body, mind, and environment. So to carry the aim forward, Saraf Public School conducted a Poster Making Competition on the theme: Fit Body- Fit Mind-Fit Environment. Students from Class VI to VIII actively participated in the competition and made alluring posters with magnificent slogans that can easily motivate someone and aware them of their mind, body, and environment. Yoga

  It is not always possible to change the outer things going around you, but it is always under your control to improve the things within you. Saraf Public School, Khatima, conducted a Yoga session for its budding stars, named as YOGA FOR ALL. It helps the students to enhance physical flexibility, refines balance and coordination, develop focus and concentration. All the students participated in the activity and they were made aware of the benefits of inculcating Yoga in their daily routine.

Martial Arts

  Martial arts strengthen muscles and endurance while improving flexibility, balance, agility, and coordination. Therefore, with better mental and physical health, students will lead a happier, well-rounded life. So, the Saraf Public School always strives to give its students a platform where they can sharpen their personality and promote a healthy lifestyle through Martial Arts. Students learn a certain level of focus, drive, and patience among themselves.

Essay Writing Competition

You learn to access a situation through multiple pathways as essay writing strengthens your analytical skills. This aids you in your practical life as your perspective of life opens out. It even adds more when the topic is FIT INDIA SCHOOL. So to make this fitness week even more enthusiastic n energetic, the school conducted Essay Writing Competition.
